Who is Amici dei Bambini?

Amici dei Bambini is a family movement, who, since 1986, has been committed to defending the rights of children, primarily abandoned children.

What does the Association do?

The Amici dei Bambini Association defends the rights of children in Italy and worldwide. It specifically fights against child neglect defending the rights of all children to have a family. Ai.Bi. also represents an authorised entity overseeing international adoption.

Who forms parts of the Association?

The Ai.Bi. – Amici dei Bambini Association is a voluntary organisation so is formed of many volunteers but also employees and consultants working in Italy and abroad in order to ensure development of care and support projects for children in difficulty; projects which Amici dei Bambini promotes.

How long has the Association been running? Where is the Association based?

Amici dei Bambini was officially founded in 1986 and is located in Italy (with central headquarters near to Milan at Mezzano di San Giuliano Milanese and regional offices in Piedmont, Veneto, Friuli Venezia Giulia,Trentino Alto Adige, Emilia Romagna, Marche,Tuscany, Lazio, Campania, Puglia, Sicily and Sardinia), in Eastern Europe, Latin America, Africa and Asia.
