BPA (Bisphenol A): Chicco feeding bottles range complies with the new European Directive 2011/08/EU
Following the publication of the recent European Directive 2011/8/EU, restricting the use of Bisphenol A in plastic infant (babies up to 12 months) feeding bottles, Chicco confirms that its product range already complies with the new Directive requirements.
All Chicco feeding bottles (Step Up, Evolution, Well-Being and Nature Glass) are made of glass and BPA-free plastics.
Chicco wants to reassure parents confirming that the introduction of the new Directive is based on the “precautionary principle”, taking into consideration the fact that alternative materials, which have been voluntarily introduced by feeding bottles manufacturers, are currently available in the European market.
